AT&T Unlimited customers will be pleased to know that AT&T has announced today it is adding Spotify Premium as a free option on its most expensive mobile subscription packages. If you’re on or join AT&T’s Unlimited &More Premium wireless plan, you can choose Spotify Premium. Congrats on selecting AT&T Unlimited &More SM Premium and choosing Spotify Premium 1 as your entertainment benefit, on us! If you already have Spotify Premium, you can still enjoy Spotify Premium as your entertainment option. First, you have to cancel your Spotify Premium subscription. Then, you have to downgrade to Spotify Free. So you want free Spotify Premium, huh? Well, you're in luck — if you're an AT&T customer, that is. That's because it's offering a free Premium subscription to all its customers on select plans.
Here are five things to know about the offer:
Starting tomorrow, AT&T Unlimited &More SM Premium 1 customers can select a Spotify Premium subscription from one of 7 premium entertainment options, for no extra charge. The trial offer will be marketed directly to eligible AT&T customers.
- If you’re on or join AT&T’s Unlimited &More Premium wireless plan, you can choose Spotify Premium as your premium entertainment option—at no extra charge.
- If you’re an existing Spotify Premium subscriber and have or join an &More Premium wireless plan, you’ll get to keep your current Spotify account (and all those playlists you’ve made). If you already have an &More Premium plan, you just sign up through the AT&T website.
- Select AT&T customers can sign up forafree six-month trial of Spotify Premium. So if you’re an eligible AT&T customer, keep an eye out for offer details from AT&T.
- Following the trial, those AT&T customers can continue to enjoy Spotify Premium for $9.99/month.

Cancel your Premium plan any time with these steps.
- Log in to your account page.
- Under Your plan, click CHANGE PLAN.
- Scroll to Spotify Free and click CANCEL PREMIUM.
- Continue through to the confirmation message.
Your account page now shows the date your plan will change to Spotify Free. You can continue to use Premium features until then.
When plan changes to Spotify Free, you can still log in, play tunes, and access all your saved music and playlists.

This means you subscribed with another company (e.g. your mobile provider, or with iTunes).
Since they manage the subscription, you need to cancel with them. You can find their details on your account page.

If you're being charged, you likely have Premium on a different account. This guide will help you find and cancel it.
If you cancel around your usual billing date, your next payment may have already been taken.
If your account page shows a date when your plan will change to Spotify Free, you’ve successfully cancelled and won’t be charged again. If it doesn’t show this, try the cancel steps again making sure you reach the confirmation message.
